About Our Support Group
The Los Angeles Dystonia Support Group is supported by the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF). We work on the local level to help those affected by Dystonia to find support, sense of community and the resources they need. Our group represent a diverse mix of individuals who have varying forms of dystonia.
Our attendees see a wide array of doctors, seek and have undergone carrying forms of treatment, and differ in needs for treatment. We welcome everyone to our meetings including family and friends of those with Dystonia. We encourage everyone to reach out to us and each other. The support we receive from the DMRF helps us to provide the opportunity for those who are affected by dystonia to find others with the condition within our local community.
